Candelaria Group's story
This group is formed by five women. Its leader is Maria Elizabeth, who is the first woman on the left side in the photo. She has been selling Herbalife products for a number of years.
She is applying for this loan to invest in the purchase of more products, since they ask her for whole packages, and at the moment she doesn't have any. She also wants to have a variety in reserve so that when they ask her [for a product], she can have it to sell. Lack of capital has made it difficult for her.
She awaits the support of Kiva to be able to get ahead with her business. Her fellow group members have [businesses of] selling t-shirts, selling tortillas, selling flowers, and selling snacks. They all work hard to continue with their businesses and generate income for their families.
