Angela Santo
A loan of $1,450 helps to buy sacks of lentils, rice, pepper, cinnamon, T-shirts, outfits for boys and girls, among other items.

Angela Santo's story
Angela Santo and her family live in Los Bajos de Montecristi, a place renowned for its handicrafts made from toquilla straw, wicker, piquigua [a tropical rainforest plant and its fiber, used for weaving], and wood. It is particularly famous for its fine toquilla straw hats, known globally as the “Panama Hat.”
Angela Santo and her husband have been merchants since they were young. They sell their products from home and travel to different areas of the city, as well as to beaches and the nearby countryside, to offer their goods. Their offerings include groceries, seasonings, dried grains, and clothing for women, men, and children. They provide these items at competitive prices and offer them on credit, which helps boost their sales. Payments are collected every eight days, and each time, customers place new orders. She also sells products directly from their home. She is very grateful for the support she receives from kind people, who are a constant source of encouragement for her family, and she hopes they will continue to lend their support.
This loan will be used to buy sacks of lentils, rice, pepper, cinnamon, T-shirts, and outfits for boys and girls, among other items.
