De Pie Sobre La Roca Group
A loan of $3,300 helps a member to invest in more merchandise for her store, and fulfill her dream of expanding it and seeing her daughter become a professional.

De Pie Sobre La Roca Group's story
Gladys is the mother of a young daughter and a member of the credit group in her community called De Pie Sobre la Roca. Thanks to this program, she was able to access a loan that helped her strengthen her small business: a convenience store that she manages from her home.
Before joining the group, Gladys had limited resources to stock her store. Today, with effort and planning, she has been able to expand her inventory and increase her income.
With a clear vision for the future, Gladys dreams of growing her store even more, offering a wider variety of products, and most importantly, giving her daughter the opportunity to become a professional. To move toward this goal, she plans to invest in high-demand goods, such as six boxes of one-liter juice, ten boxes of milk, fifteen packages of sugar, ten packages of flour, two boxes of yerba mate, and three boxes of oil.
The credit group she belongs to is made up primarily of entrepreneurial women, who run businesses selling grilled foods, homemade sweets, jewelry, traditional meals, footwear, and groceries. Together, they support each other, share experiences, and build networks of trust that strengthen both their businesses and their communities.
