To Catch a Dollar: Winners announced for Video Call with Muhammad Yunus!
April 12, 2011By: KelseyatKiva
Last month thousands of you joined us, in over 225 theaters nationwide, for the screening of To Catch a Dollar: Muhammad Yunus Banks on America. The film, directed by Gayle Ferraro, follows Dr. Muhammad Yunus as he brings his Grameen microfinance movement to the US.
This journey was inspired by the success of the Grameen Model in other countries, where credit is not always accessible to all. (Fun Fact: It was a talk by Dr. Yunus at Stanford University in 2003, that inspired Matt Flannery and Jessica Jackley to build Kiva.org!)

In anticipation for the nationwide screening on March 31st, we asked attendees why they were seeing the film for a chance to talk with Dr. Yunus via Skype video call (see Terms & Conditions). We received inspirational submissions from all over the country! Your thoughts reflected the importance of this film for those who are fighting everyday To Catch A Dollar.
We would like to congratulate the three participants who have been awarded a one-on-one Skype call with Nobel Laureate, Muhammad Yunus:
