After graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara as a Communications major, Regina first heard of Kiva while working her first big girl job at Yelp and couldn't stop thinking about it! She recently left Yelp as an Account Executive where she helped local business owner's grow their businesses by taking advantage of the Yelp community and is excited to start her internship at Kiva. Having been raised in a very worldly and community conscious family, other passions include working with children, the elderly and people with disabilities. With a Journalism background, Regina has held multiple Opinion Editor positions, competed in both state and national competitions, and freelanced on the side preferring to write about people and their powerful stories. She is a proud Italian, avid reader, dedicated soccer player and classical music enthusiast. She is thrilled to be able to call Kiva her home for the next 6 months and to meet new, like minded people.
