Kelsey is originally from Santa Barbara, California and studied Social Science at Westmont College. Upon graduation, she moved to San Francisco for an AmeriCorps position at the American Red Cross. Since then, she has spent her career in the nonprofit, tech, and corporate retail sectors. Kelsey's interest in microfinance began years ago when she read Sheryl WuDunn and Nicholas Kristof's Half the Sky, and she's thrilled to be a part of Kiva's mission to alleviate poverty. In her spare time, Kelsey loves to dance, travel and explore the Bay Area with her husband Daniel.
