A loan of $2,025 helps to buy dairy cows in order to increase her milk sales to a local factory.

Nazila's story

Nazila, 58, is married. She has completed secondary education. As a source of primary income for her family, she has been engaged in animal husbandry and farming since 1996. Thanks to her tireless work, she currently has four cows, 110 sheep, and seven horses on her farm. She also has a 4.4 hectare plot of land where show grows beans.

Nazila has a contract to deliver organic milk to the local factory, which will be further processed into dairy products. This allows her continual investment in her agricultural business. Having learned that she can obtain a loan from Bai Tushum Bank secured by contract for future delivery--within the framework of the Value Chain product--she applied for a loan in the amount of 170,000 KGS. This will purchase dairy cows in order to increase milk sale volumes. Payments from the plant for the milk will be directly transferred to Nazila's bank account, and loan payments will be automatically deducted. The income from the loan will help to further develop the farm.
