A loan helped to buy piglets and some fodder to add to their feed.

Gilbert's story

Gilbert is a 60-year-old man, and he is married. He lives in their own house in a village on the edge of town. For over twenty years, he has been raising pigs. His spouse helps him.

A partner of Vahatra, he was able to lease arable land with the profits acquired by the prior loan. Next, he intends to enhance his pig farm to increase revenues. So he is asking for the support of lenders to buy piglets and some fodder to add to their feed.

He will resell his pigs after a few months. He is going to save up his earnings to renovate their house later.
