A loan of $3,575 helps to change some of the old computers and furniture of his internet café, so his little clients will be more satisfied and happy.

Irket's story

Irket is a young boy from Pogradec city. He lives only with his mother, as his father abandoned them when Irket was only a child. Irket started working part-time when he was 14 years old. He used to be a waiter for a bar near his house.

"It was then when I started to dream to have my own bar-café one day. It was a great occasion for me renting the internet café I have today, as the previous owner emigrated and sold the computers and tables for a very low price. Even though (the computers are) old, I have been able to keep them running until now. But, some of them need to be changed so that the children that come to use them, mainly for school projects or for playing, will find them more advanced and fast!" said Irket during the interview.

Irket is hoping for Kiva lenders' support for the first time to change some of the old computers and furniture of his internet café so his little clients will be more satisfied and happy.
